New Updates

Support documentation updated to address Adobe PDF issues (Updated 10/30/2013)

Some users have experienced issues(i.e. blank pages) with PDF files while viewing new business applications, temporary ID cards or other PDF documents in Alliance. We have updated the Gateway Support Site to include recommended solutions. Please consider the recommended solutions below if you are experiencing issues with viewing PDF files.

Recommended Solutions:
  • Have only one PDF viewer product installed on your computer. It is recommended that if you have both Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader, you uninstall Adobe Reader. To uninstall a program from your computer please consult with your local tech support for assistance. You may also go to the Control Panel on your computer and locate the Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Programs and Features(Windows Vista and higher) to uninstall the desired program.
  • Uninstall all unnecessary tool bars from your computer. Please keep an eye out when installing other third party programs not to install unwanted tool bars that may come bundled with them. To uninstall a toolbar from your computer please consult with your local tech support for assistance. You may also go to the Control Panel on your computer and locate the Add/Remove Programs(Windows XP) or Programs and Features(Windows Vista and higher) to uninstall the desired toolbar.
  • Uninstall any old version of Adobe Reader and reinstall the most recent version from Adobe’s website. Please use the same approach referenced for uninstalling a desired program.
